Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the science of the human brain’s operating modes, filters and patterns – and how to use communication (verbal and non-verbal) effectively to achieve desired results.
Neuro is the nervous system (the mind), through which our experience is processed via 5 senses:
Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Olfactory, Gustatory.
Linguistic is the language and other nonverbal communication systems through which our neural representations are coded, ordered and given meaning.
Programming is the ability to discover and utilise the programs that we run in our neurological systems to achieve our specific and desired outcomes.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques are designed to:
- Identify limiting beliefs / emotions / behaviours,
- Gain resolution to these limiting beliefs / emotions / behaviours,
- Install new and beneficial strategies,
- Increase motivation and self-awareness,
- Enhance performance,
- Achieve excellence.
